In November 2003, the Planning Authority recommended, and Moyle District Council agreed, to the two Developments behind Eagry Park, Bushmills, Co. Antrim, to go ahead. (E/2001/0247/F and E/2001/0248/F). On the 29th June 2004 the Decision Notices were finally issued and we objectors received notification. That's over seven months after approval was given. So brace yourself for years of constant noise of building work from 8am every weekday. And when it’s all built, realise you have lost your countryside view and now have neighbours peering into your back rooms.. So many people objected and have taken a keen interest in the outcome
of this development proposal that we thought it might be of interest
for you to see a little of the negotiations and consultations (some still
ongoing) which went behind this contentious plan. Hence this web site. |

Although these two plans- 0247 & 0248 - are separate applications, I am treating them as one for the purpose of this web site, as most of the correspondence quoted refers to them both and several of the plans submitted also show both applications as one. They do, after all, abut onto each other. We have copies of all the letters and plans mentioned on this web site. They can be seen here at Number 32. All the layouts, plans and letters can also be seen (and copies taken) in the Planning Department at County Hall, Coleraine. Here is a note received from Planning Service in October 2002 :- |

Photos of plants which
appear on this web site were taken in the fields scheduled for building. |

Technical
Note ; - The layout of most of these pages is narrow enough to be printed
on A4 paper "portrait" mode, although many will run into more
than one page. These pages can be printed in black and white without loss
of any information. Set your printer to greyscale it will be faster and
cheaper. Technical problems? email brian@eagry.com |
