TOTEM POLE
In 1988 I was commisioned by group of Disco dancers to design and build a large totem pole for their exhibition dances. The only proviso was that it had to come apart so they could carry it on the bus. (The youngsters did not have their own transport).
I have looked out my original drawings for that task to help me when painting the totem pole in this scene. .
