March This month the result of a survey into the Ulster and Royal Hospital Radios was published. The survey was carried out by a researcher from (I think) Jordanstown.

10 April Two way phone link up with Radio Royal (RVH)
3 June Two visitors from Downpatrick to discuss them setting up a radio station in their Hospital
26 June NAHBO (Ulster) tournament. between the various radio stations. 7 a side and disco
   
13 Oct Hospital Radio Week starts.Four Hospital Radio stations (over 50 volunteers) took part in bed-push. (Many photos and a press cutting)
4 Nov Huge childrens party organised by the Hospital Radio Volunteers in the childrens' wards. 200 pople there! Vivian Woods (Magician), Lelia Webster (Comedien), balloons, chocolate, cake, Rupert annuals, etc. (10 UHR volunteers involved) Cutting including details of performers and donations
2 Dec Christchurch Guides/Brownies Carol Service. We recorded it and broadcast it that afternoon.
12 Dec The EHSS Board has agreed to pay for new distributor amplifiers
19 Dec Live OB Nurses Carol Service

23 Dec
