THE BUILDING OF THE MIXING DESK.

For a token sum we bought an old redundant four channel Marconi desk from the BBC in Belfast.
This was taken to Danny W's house where it was completely stripped apart and put into a custom built desk made by the Ulster Hospital carpenters. Danny was the BBC wireman.

There then followed many weeks of spare time work for both Brian W. (Drawing out the required circuits) and Danny W. (wiring the circuits into the desk) Desk arrives at Hospital

But when we did our sums it wouldn't go around one of the corridor corners if we took it in through those glass doors. So it was squeezed in through the "tradesmen's" entrance !
