THE TARDIS

A commission for a youngster's birthday.

This is a three quarter sized version based on the Dr Who film design and made this size to fit the bedroom.

The blue light on the top revolves and flashes.

The interior is lit with an Ultra Violet fluorescent tube . The interior is empty and left to the owner's imagination as to what she puts inside it.

Both UV and flashing lights are switched on by a remote control so she can lay in bed and switch it on and off as required.

I painted this vague control desk on the back wall of the interior then, once dry, coated the image with a layer of "invisible blue" UV paint so it glows under the UV light.
