Here is the special cupboard I made for the show. It was to be used in the cottage and I had to make it with trap doors so one of the dwarves could pop out of the top. (with the operator underneath, inside.)

Here it is in rehearsal.

This was a two-colour folk-art experiment. with highlights and shadow. The front is just a flat piece of ply with the various depths painted on.

And below is the cupboard in use along with the printed backcloth.

Can you imagine how crowded it must have been beneath that table?
