These are three short cloths hung over the three "Woods" flats shown on the previous page.
Sand is useful to show the various planes which helps to give the illusion of depth. Shadows also help.
With cloths like these, where the edges are to be seen, I try to make the edges as straight as possible so they do not curl. Hence the two pillars.
