SCENERY PAINTING FOR THE AMATEUR MUSICAL THEATRE and PANTOMIME
SHOW BOAT - page two
Designer - Donald O'Brien. Scenic Artist - Brian Willis.
Sets constructed by Leonard Quigg. Performed by Ballycastle Choral Society (1999)

Prow of the Boat with river behind. Photographed in the workshop. The black pole at the back is part of the wall of the workshop. 5 ltr. paint tin for scale.

River is a groundrow, Then in front of that the boat, then a small ground row of an old wooden bollard. And in front of it all a set of rostra painted to look like planks on posts. You can just make out my little joke of a shark's fin in the river above the boat railings.
