"The School House" Only the steps and rostrum are real (practical) the rest of the building is painted on ; - doors, windows, boards, roof etc. I often put in things leaning against walls, like the lump of wood on the right. This enables me to paint in the "shadow" which undulates according to the "texture" on which it is cast so, in this case, helps the subconcious think this is a wall of wooden planks.
