Performed by Coleraine Provincial Players Jan 2012

TOP OF THE BEANSTALK

Cloth 18 x 11 feet. Photo taken in workshop under natural light.
The producer, script writer, and main scenery constructor, Sean Magee stands in front of my "Clouds" cloth for scale.
The clouds and sky were done with sponges dipped in different coloured paint.
Best bits? The reflection of the red planet on the base of the top left planet.
The shadows of the planets on the clouds which helped give them depth.

Worst bits? The moon at the top centre. Looks more like a space ship with carbuncles!
And Saturn's rings which aren't elliptical. (Must be a time warp).
If I was doing this again I would also omit the Comet which doesn't work.

Observant viewers will note the Milky Way and Orion's Belt.
