NEW YORK STREET SCENE Nearly finished

March 31st (Usual 5 ltr paint tin for scale).
Whew, nearly finished. This has been a busy, and exhausting, few days. All the white dots are to be covered with various colours of fluorescent paint. Fluorescent paint works best on a base of white.
This is an exercise in layers. There are several tricks to help the illusion of depth and one of them is to have lots of layers of elements on top of each other. Look at the left 'arrow' for instance. Behind it is the green arch, the word "Club", the American flag, the lamppost, and finally the background building. The right side of the cloth has even more layers which you can sort out for yourself.
On the left, off the cloth, beside the red curtain, is a piece of board with a black line on it. That's my horizon/eye line.
Below the red 'No Parking' sign is my name. I usually try to get my name on any cloth I paint.
