MARY
ANN CHIPPERFIELD
|
|
When the Chipperfield's Circus came to Belfast in 1984, my wife and I
made ourselves known to the elderly Richard Chipperfield. He made us very
welcome and gave us these commemorative stamps which he signed. He also
told us a little about Mary Ann and according to him she died of food
poisoning from eating tinned lobster. |
